At Angeldust Bengals, health is not an aspiration. It is the foundation of our breeding programme. Every decision we make, from pairing to rearing, is guided by long term health. Our kittens are raised within a carefully managed, veterinary inspected programme, designed to minimise preventable risk and protect lifelong wellbeing. Every pairing, every protocol, and every decision is guided by long term health.
Angeldust Bengals operates a closed, controlled breeding environment, with a structured Feline Coronavirus elimination protocol implemented in collaboration with our veterinary practice and following guidance from Dr Addie at The University of Glasgow. We are proud to be the only Bengal breeder in the UK who guarantees that their kittens leave us FCoV clear. This is achieved through strict biosecurity, environmental management, and ongoing monitoring within our breeding cats. Prevention is not assumed. It is actively maintained. All our breeding Bengals are DNA tested for 50 genetic conditions, including Pyruvate Kinase Deficiency (PKdef), Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRAb), Progressive Retinal Atrophy rdAc, and Polycystic kidney disease (PKD variant 1). Only cats meeting our strict health criteria are included in our breeding programme.Every breeding cat undergoes annual echocardiographic screening for Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM). HCM is a condition that causes the muscular walls of a cat's heart to thicken , decreasing the heart's efficiency. It is the most commonly diagnosed cardiac disease in cats and there are thought to be many causes. However, by annual screening, we hope to remove any Bengal cats from our breeding programme where genetics may play a role.
At Angeldust Bengals, welfare and ethics are not just marketing phrases. They are our foundation.
We are a truly cageless home cattery. Our Bengals live as family members, never housed away outside. They live within the rhythm of our home, surrounded by daily human interaction, affection, and thoughtful care.
Because they are raised in a home environment, our kittens grow up accustomed to daily family life - everyday sounds, movement, visitors, and household activity. This early exposure creates confident, adaptable kittens who transition seamlessly into their new homes.
We intentionally remain small, allowing us to prioritise individual wellbeing, emotional development, and exceptional standards at every stage.
The result is Bengal kittens of remarkable confidence, warmth, and connection.
Our Bengal kittens are raised within an intentional, research led socialisation programme designed to nurture confident, affectionate and emotionally balanced companions. From their earliest days, they are gently introduced to the natural rhythms of family life, allowing them to transition calmly and seamlessly into homes with children, adults, and other pets.
Unlike conventional breeding environments, our kittens are thoughtfully guided through a structured early development framework that supports neurological resilience, deep human bonding and long term emotional wellbeing.
Each Angeldust kitten leaves us securely attached to people, confident in temperament, and ready to integrate effortlessly into their new family.
At Angeldust Bengals, excellence is not just a claim - it is independently verified.
We are proud holders of the prestigious TICA Outstanding Cattery Award, having achieved the highest possible score following veterinary inspection. We adhere fully to the TICA Outstanding Cattery Code of Ethics, ensuring that every decision we make prioritises the health, welfare and emotional well being of our Bengal cats and kittens.
In addition, we hold a 5 star Breeding License from Stockport Council, the highest rating awarded, reflecting the exceptional standards of care, environment and ethics that define our cattery.
For us, these accreditations are not simply credentials; they are a reflection of the responsibility we carry and the standard we set for Bengal breeding in the UK.
